Our heat reflective pogies will reduce the transfer of heat from your hands.
Our pogies are extra light ,warm, water repellent, wind proof ,sun proof and weight between 28 and 70 grams each
Ordinary neoprene pogies or pogies with fleece lining retain a significant amount of water which makes them heavy and absorb heat from your hands due to a conduction reaction :Water conducts heat away from the hands 25 times faster than air .
In some cases the weight of neoprene pogies or pogies with fleece lining may approach the weight of a carbon fibre paddle which is on average about 1000 grams ,thus defeating the purpose of having a light weight paddle .
Our pogies will protect your hands from the cold wind and aching joints as well as from the sun UV rays , preventing the formation of black skin spots due to sun exposure and provide excellent manual dexterity with quick hands in and out .
Orange and pink are also light reflective which means they make your paddle more visible , we are all in between swims .
